Abstract

This talk describes the design and testing of a continuous-time quadrature bandpass delta-sigma ADC which has a bandwidth of 8.5MHz around a center frequency of 44MHz. The ADC clocks at 264MHz and achieves an instantaneous dynamic range of 85dB while consuming 275mW from 3.3V and 1.8V supplies. Cross-coupled active-RC integrators are used to construct quadrature resonators, and a resonator Q in excess of 40 is achieved at 44MHz.
