Workshop Paper Formatting Instructions

1. Print and sign the copyright form found at http://www.acm.org/pubs/copyright_form.html to transfer copyright to ACM.
   The complete ACM Copyright Policy can be viewed at http://www.acm.org/pubs/copyright_policy/.

   It must be sent to fax number +1 (416) 978-4425 as soon as possible, and no later than September 1st.
   Together with the form, send also a cover page containing the following information:

2. The paper must use the ACM Styles found at http://www.acm.org/sigs/pubs/proceed/template.html.
   Use the LaTeX2e Tighter Alternate Style (Option 2) that produces files with the permission block.
   Additionaly, include the lines from the corresponding workshop into your .tex file, just after the \begin{document} line.

   Posters: papers accepted as poster can use the template http://mgc2004.lncc.br/MGC_files/acm-posters.cls . It does not contain the permission block and consequently has more space for text.

3. The articles must be submitted in pdf format, together with the source files. They should be packed as a .zip or .tar.gz file.
   The files should be named: paperId-firstAuthorLastName.zip or paperId-firstAuthorLastName.tar.gz (e.g. MGC01-knuth.zip). You should receive the paper identification (paperId) together with the notification of acceptance.
   Use the same naming scheme for the source and pdf files (e.g. MGC01-knuth.pdf, MGC01-knuth.tex).

4. You must use Type 1 fonts (scalable), not Type 3 (bit-mapped). Bit-mapped fonts produce large files and are difficult to read on the screen.
   A simple way to accomplish this is by using the package pslatex, which makes latex use standard postscript fonts as default, or to use pdflatex.

5. You should include the ACM Computing Classification categories and terms in the article. They can be found at http://www.acm.org/class/1998/.
   It is likely that your work is under the nodes C.2 or D.2.

6. The deadline for the camera ready version of the article is September 1st.
