The Advanced Workshops Chair is also happy to discuss proposals in advance of the submission date.
All proposals should be submitted by electronic mail to kon(at)ime.usp.br in one of the following formats - plain ASCII text, .pdf or .ps - as soon as possible, but not later than March 30th, 2004.
As soon as a workshop proposal is accepted for Middleware 2004, each workshop organizing committee will be responsible for producing and publicizing the final Call for Papers for the workshop and select the workshop participants.
The workshop organizing committee will select the papers to be presented in each workshop and will collect the camera-ready versions to be printed in a combined workshop proceedings. We expect that each workshop will typically accept 8 to 16 papers and that each paper will be between 4 to 6 pages in length.
Participation in a particular workshop will be subject to the following conditions: registration for the main conference as well as for the particular workshop (a complementary workshop fee will be applicable), and acceptance at that workshop.
