December 9, 2007 - I updated my resume and about myself sections.
April 26, 2007 - I updated my main page. Since I started using an RSS feed reader, the quick links list has been reduced to only those not in my feed list. I also added info about my favourite keyboard layout, Colemak. It is much better than Dvorak, although I can't type as fast as with Qwerty yet. The vim file is for the layout proper, even though I use a modified version that accomodates my injured finger.
July 16, 2006 - I added five more sets of pictures for 2006.
April 20, 2006 - I added close to a year worth of pictures to my album. I also added a picture of myself in the About Myself section. I've also been updating the Quick Links at the bottom of my main page.
July 24, 2005 - I added approximately two years worth of pictures to my album; the addition is probably the biggest single update to my site. I also put password protection on the photo album. Anybody who would like to have access should email me.
July 20, 2005 - I added a picture to the 2002 New Year's Eve folder; I missed it because it was the only picture taken after midnight. I also fixed up the urls of the images in the Frisbee in the Park and Heather's Party folders. I will soon add more pictures for 2003, as well as pictures for 2004 and 2005. I will also password protect my picture collection at the same time. I've sorted all of my pictures and now I have to generate all of the html files. I have 12 more folders for 2003, 14 folders for 2004, and only 5 folders for 2005. And one of those folders for 2005 is from Rob's trip to Israel. I'm feeling bad about not using my camera often enough. I guess I should make a mid-summer resolution to take my camera with me whenever I can and take lots of pictures.
July 18, 2005 - I've certainly been on a long hiatus. I've finally updated my publications page. I'm also starting to sort through the backlog of pictures that I have. I may therefore update my picture album by the end of the summer.
April 23, 2004 - I've finished my Master's thesis in January, although I'm still finding typos in it; oh well. I finally updated my resume and personal information so that they're up to date.
August 25, 2003 - I'm still not done my Master's thesis, but that's not new. I added more pictures, which I guess isn't all that new either since that's what all the updates seem to be about. They're new pictures though... enjoy.
May 9, 2003 - I added pictures from February (I have no pictures between then and now). I also reorganized the main pictures page to show the years in reverse chronological order. Within the year the pictures are still in chronological order though, but the list for each year should fit in one screen, so that's okay. I probably should have added these pictures in February, but better late than never. I also had to re-generate most of my directories for 2002 because I used an incorrectly oriented slash to denote directory separators. I guess no one's been looking at my pictures for a while.
February 15, 2003 - I added a lisp section to my project web page. For now there are only a few pictures that I created using a Common Lisp program that I wrote.
January 22, 2003 - I finally updated my pictures page again. Hmm... a familiar refrain. Eventually I will actually have time to update my links sections too. Although I'm guessing I'll finish my Master's thesis first. Also, I'd like to display picture information, such as the exact time that a picture was taken, the ISO light settings, the f-stop, etc. I'll get around to all that eventually. So I guess in that sense nothing's new.
November 20, 2002 - I finally updated my pictures page again.
September 2, 2002 - I added more sets of pictures today, including some that are more than a year old. I really should write more along with the pictures; oh well.
August 6, 2002 - I came back from my vacation in Florida and this time I uploaded the pictures really quickly, which is a change from the usual.
July 15, 2002 - I added Henry's pictures of Matt and Miranda's wedding, and I also fixed the other pictures that I added so that when you press on a picture, a bigger image shows up.
July 6, 2002 - I added three directories with a large amount of pictures. The pictures do not have any descriptions below them because there are just too many pictures. I should also put password protection on the directories that contain the pictures, but that's a future project.
April 12, 2002 - I sort of sorted the unsorted links page. Got that? =)
February 25, 2002 - I added more pictures over the last two days. I'm up to date again.
January 7, 2002 - I added a new project (WordChanger), updated my course schedule for the new term along with web site links, added more unsorted links, and debugged Online80.
December 28, 2001 - I added the online80 section, created a new schedule for the spring term (and added some notes about what too keep in mind when doing research), and added more links to the unsorted links page (I also made a quotes section, although for now there's only one quote.
December 27, 2001 - I updated the pictures section yet again. I will add more links to the unsorted links page soon. I will also give more information regarding online eighty (online80), such as bug lists, documentation, and notes. I also have about half a dozen more picture directories to add. Most of these are from a while back. I just haven't added them yet. I should also sort all of the new links in the unsorted section.
December 20, 2001 - I updated the pictures section. I will try to get all of the pictures that I still have left over up on the web before the start of the next term. I am also finally testing my online game when it is actually online. You can check http://huron.eecg.utoronto.ca for the latest developments on that, although the server is only up intermitantly.
November 19, 2001 - I don't have time to modify my web page, but I had to change one of the figures in my fddi project because there was a typo in it, and I added some unsorted links to my home page as well.
November 4, 2001 - I added several more songs to my music section.
September 24, 2001 - I moved this web page to eecg and updated the pictures section.
August 27, 2001 - I finally uploaded my programming links page.
August 7, 2001 - I added pictures to my collection.
July 30, 2001 - I added a fourth applet. This one simulates a transmission line. I also modified the other applets so that the numbers that the user could change would be visible from within Netscape.
July 18, 2001 - I added a third applet to my projects page. I created the applet, which finds the minimum cost sum of products expression of a boolean function, as part of one of my courses. My programming links page has also disappeared and it might be a while before it reappears.
July 12, 2001 - I added a second applet to my projects page. This one uses a simple block cipher to encrypt and decrypt text. I also added a link to the Toronto Public Library on my links page.
July 4, 2001 - I created a projects section, and it currently has one project, an applet that shows how temperature can change in a thin, homogeneous bar.
June 28, 2001 - I updated my two links sections and my resume. I also added several quick links to my main page.
June 5, 2001 - I added a music section with some home made MIDI files (I wrote the MIDI capture program and I'm the one playing the keyboard).
January 26, 2001 - I finally created a resume for myself, and I decided to put it up on the web.
December 8, 2000 - I added my assignment for data communications yesterday, and I put up some pictures today. Now my web page finally has some graphics in it.
October 16, 2000 - I made a mirror site on at www.geocities.com/bbradel that will hopefully last longer than my ecf account.
September 25, 2000 - I modified my time table slightly.
September 18, 2000 - I updated my link sections and added several new courses for the current term. I also decided to remove the extended descriptions in my links sections and any of my own work that I have done.
February 1, 2000 - I created my first quality applet and put it on my web site. You can find it in the programming/webart section.
January 14, 2000 - It seems like I did very little to update this web page in 1999. I hope that this year will be different. I have re-organized my web page slightly, expanded the ever-growing programming section, added some other links, and eliminated several links that were either broken or I did not want on my web site.
September 8, 1999 - A new school year has begun, which means it is time to update my web page. I had a few links that were out of date. I had enough time to update these links, but no time for anything else. Pretty soon I have to start Perl, Java, and JavaScript programming on my web page, but I do not know how much spare time I have.
January 2, 1999 - A new year has begun, and I am updating my web page again. I am now using style sheets so that the text on my web page will be in a sans-serif font for most people. I have also changed the color scheme of my web page, changed the structure of the page a little, updated my programming section, and removed the frames version of the web page. I want to redesign the web page before using the frames again.
September 22, 1998 - I put the updated version of the web page online.
September 19, 1998 - I know I added a programming section two or so weeks ago. Now I am seriously updating the web page, before I receive too much homework. The whole page will be uploaded on tuesday (08/22/98). I am creating a directory structure, updating everything related to programming, and upgrading the page so it will have an option to use frames.
June 2, 1998 - I fixed several typos. I find the page to be satisfactory, so there will be few, if any, major changes in the near future.
May 27, 1998 - I finally did it. My web site is now online. Now I can concentrate on other things. Note that from now on updates will be less frequent.
May 26, 1998 - I didn't have time to work on this web page, but now I have enough stuff to put this site online, so I will do that tomorrow. Although I still have a long way to go before I think this site is even remotely done. I also have so many nice links to add. Unfortunately the one thing I don't have is an abundance of time.
May 14, 1998 - Today made my second "draft" of the links section. I've also figured out how I will probably incorporate frames into the web page. I'll actually implement them another day though.
May 13, 1998 - I've just realized that I need to complete this web page soon, because I have so many other things which I have to do. Today I finished the first "draft" of the links section, and started the writing section.
May 12, 1998 - I've put other things on the back burner, while I finish this page, so hopefully I'll be done soon. One interesting thing which I discovered today is that DosLynx 0.8 does not support the combination of: ampere sign, the letters "nbsp" and a semicolon. This allows me to have two spaces after periods, question marks, exclamation marks, and colons, which I like. Oh well, I'll figure something out. I continued working on the links section today.
May 10, 1998 - I have some more time today, so I'm continuing the work. I really wonder when I will finally finish updating the pages and put the web page online. So far I've pretty much completed my personal information, and will continue to work on the links section.
May 2, 1998 - Today I have a little more time, so I'm continuing my work. So far I have started the "what's new" section, and started writing the page with my personal information.
April 30, 1998 - Unfortunately, I had no time in the past 8 months to do any more work on the web page. But now that the school year is over, I actually have some time to work on this web page. I started working on the html code at home today, thinking I could create enough to be able to finally update my web page. I was, however, sadly wrong, and have much much MUCH more work to do. So far today I edited my index page, and started on my links page.
September 5, 1997 - I found out that part of my tuition for university goes towards computer access, which includes the ability to have a web page for no extra fee. So I started this web page, and all I had to do was type in: wwwinit on one of the computers at school.
