I am a graduate student in the Computer Group of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at University of Toronto.

I have graduated in 2000 from Politehnica University of Bucharest (Romania) with a B.S. in Computer Science and Engineering. I got some sort of Master's degree from the same University in 2001.

I have worked with Prof. Michael J. Voss starting from September 2002, and I obtained my MASc (Master of Applied Sciences) degree in August 2005. My MASc thesis was stOMP: A Specializing Threads Library for OpenMP. I am currently working towards my Ph.D. degree under the co-supervision of Prof. Cristiana Amza and Prof. J. Gregory Steffan. My topic seems to be in the area of dependence tracking in the context of TM/TLS.

I attend the Compiler and Architecture Reading Group (CARG) which meets every week to discuss papers and research in the areas of compilers and computer architecture.
