The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Toronto is hosting a research symposium on May 27, 2008.
The symposium will include multiple sessions consisting of short presentations by ECE graduate students outlining the research topics pursued at the Department, accompanied by poster sessions with ample opportunities for informal interaction between participants. There will also be a dinner showcase event following the presentations to allow top presenters and industry representatives to engage in more detailed discussions.

The objectives of this event are to promote interaction between our graduate students and faculty and members of industry, to learn about current research, to encourage cross-discipline research and to identify future directions and collaboration opportunities.
In addition to these objectives, the Connections 2008 edition of the conference will create a channel for students to submit their resumes to sponsor companies and encourage greater visibility of sponsor companies at the conference.
