Teaching Assistantships

If you are interested in TAing a course, see Jayne Leake (jayne DOT leake AT utoronto DOT ca in SFB600 (in the basement of Sandford Fleming) as soon as possible. Odds are, you will not get a fall position since the deadline is June 30th, but there may still be some openings and it's never too early to apply for a spring position. You may also contact Professors directly and see if they need any TAs for their courses.

When TAing, you are encouraged (but not required) to register with the CUPE union. This was established to increase the wages and benefits of TAs at the University of Toronto. You will be given more information on this from Jayne Leake after you have been given a TA position.
