The verilog code comprising "The Supersmall Soft Processor", and its associated documentation and test framework, are copyright James Robinson, Peter Yiannacouras, Jonathan Scobbie, Sam Vafaee, Michael Ritchie, Jonathan Rose, and the University of Toronto, and are offered for use according to the terms of the 2-clause BSD license, as reproduced below. Any use other than that allowed by this license is only permitted by the express permission of the copyright holders.

The supersmall compiler and its components (GCC, binutils, and newlib), are offered under their own licenses, as contained in their respective COPYING files.
