Biography

Khoman Phang received his Bachelors, Masters, and Doctoral degrees in electrical engineering at the University of Toronto in 1990, 1992, and 2001 respectively. He was a visiting researcher at Sony in Tokyo, Japan, in 1993 where he helped develop a prototype CDMA cellular telephone. From 1994 to 1995, he was an engineer at IBM Microelectronics working on a line of infrared wireless networking products. He is currently an Associate Professor (Teaching Stream) in the Edward S. Rogers Senior Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Toronto. His interests include analog integrated circuits, optical communication systems, and integrated circuits for biomedical applications.
