In 1987, I was born in Isfahan, the most beautiful city of Iran. When I was 18 I moved to Tehran to study my undergraduate degree in Iran University of Science and Technology. After four years, I moved to the other beautiful city of Iran, Shiraz, to get my masters degree in
Shiraz University. Two years in Shiraz was both fun and pretty productive. It got me much motivated to continue my graduate education. Now, I'm here at Toronto which is the fourth city that I've lived in. Toronto is a great city; no matter where you are from, it'll welcome you and lets you settle much easier than you would think.
Personal Interests:

Food: It's one of the most enjoyable things in the world to eat good food. I really like to be provided with
a menu full of different food names. Toronto has made this happen for me: it has many restaurants with food from all
over the world. I'm enjoying this diversity as much as possible, as much as my student budget allows me. In future, beside
whatever I do, I would like to manage a restaurant as well.
Technology: It is not a common hobby, but I truly enjoy seeing the technology advances. People are now provided
with amazing comfort resulted from computer technology. Just think about the cell phone you had 8 years
ago, without a calendar that could be synced with Google calendar! It wasn't an easy job to make all this
happen and kudos to all people behind it. I follow the tech news from various sources, Anandtech, Tomshardware,
and Hardocp are three that can keep you entertained for several hours, each week.
Video games: As a kid, I started playing with
Sega Saturn. Then when Sony's Playstation came in, I made my
most memorable moments with my friends and cousins. I acquired so many valuable properties
just playing video games, like logical thinking and fast reaction capability. At that time,
I even wrote some walkthroughs and cheat codes in designated books (there wasn't an active Internet back then).
I still love to play, but since I came to Toronto, I have less time to do it. If you're looking for a great
game to play, you can start with God of War
or Metal Gear Solid on
PS2 or PS3.
Extreme sports: The kid inside me does not only seek for video games but also likes to do them in real life.
Fun-filled activities like sky-diving, bungee-jumping, paint-balling, karting, skiing, kayaking,
and surfing are all great and make you experience new levels of excitement. |
