My research interests are in the areas of parallel and distributed systems, operating systems, file systems, and computer architecture.  I am currently working at IBM T.J. Watson Research Center on the K42 operating system project.  Before comming to IBM, I worked on the Tornado operating system, and the NUMAchine multiprocessor with the  parallel systems group at the University of Toronto.
