Michael Voss is an assistant professor in the Edward S. Rogers Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Toronto with a cross appointment in the Department of Computer Science. He received his M.S.E.E. and Ph.D. from the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Purdue University in 1997 and 2001 respectively. He received his B.E.E. from the School of Engineering and Computer Science at Gannon University in 1995.

His interests include compiler optimization, dynamic and adaptive program optimization, high-performance computing, parallel processing and performance characterization and analysis.
