The lab in this course depends heavily on the use of CAD software to implement the circuits, usually on a programmable logic device.
New this year, we will be using Complex Programmable Logic Devices (CPLDs) from Altera, and Altera's MaxPlus2 CAD software. This is one of the best software packages available in industry today.
