But then we are back to square one: of the 49 pins available to us 4 are input only. Yet resulting from the specs of the lab there are only 3 signals which are input only: Resetn, CLK, and BG. The rest are all BIDIR (except hex led stuff but that does not go through the header). This means one of these BIDIR signals will be stuck with a DI pin, and hence no go. Anybody please correct me if there is a fourth signal which we can use in Input-only mode.
