Welcome

Connections is an annual one-day symposium organized by graduate students in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE). It provides a platform for ECE graduate students to showcase their cutting-edge research in the presence of fellow graduate students, faculty, and leading industry representatives, with the aim of fostering cross-disciplinary collaboration. Since its inception in 2005, Connections has featured hundreds of technical presentations from both academia and industry alike.

Last year's event attracted nearly 200 attendees, with more than 20 student presentations and seven invited presentations from Intel, Quanser, the Creative Destruction Lab, IteraXon, IEEE, CMC and D- Wave.

This year's symposium will be held on Monday May 5th 2014 at the University of Toronto's Bahen Centre for Information Technology, and will conclude with a networking dinner sponsored by Intel.

Registration is free for all ECE graduate students. More information about registration and the Intel Networking Dinner can be found here. To submit an abstract for a student oral or poster presentation, please click here.
