Our smartphones capture an enormous amount of information about us.  It is possible that this information could be used to keep track of our mental health, assuming that this can be done so in a privacy-enabled way.  This project seeks to determine what might be inferred about a patient’s mental health through analysis of data streams from a person’s smartphone, including samples of the audio environment, location, ambient light, activity and screen activity among others.  We have also focused on detection of anxiety from impromptu speech, collected directly.
