Call for Submissions

Connections 2011 is featuring presentation by graduate students from all research groups within the ECE department as well as interesting speaches from industry respresentatives. Whether you have just started your degree or nearing the graduating, Connections 2011 is an excellent opportunity for you to present your research project!

Since Connections 2011 is attended by graduate students from all research groups within our department as well as experts from industry, the ideal presentation would focus on background, motivation and high level overview of the problem and the solution. Avoid providing too many details. Make your presentation enjoyable and easy to follow for graduate students including non-experts in your specific field.

Please make your presentation 15 to 17 minutes long and leave 2 to 3 minutes for Q&A.

Awards and Prizes:

Five abstracts will be chosen from the first twenty abstracts submited (and accepted by the organizing committee) and the authors will receive a cool prize on the day of the symposium! Moreover, the best presentations will be recognized by a cash prize.
